I found a german e-shop with very interesting prices in cameras and memory cards, its name is technikdirect.de. Does anybody from german have any references of this shop?

found only this
http://forum.geizhals.at/t152615,-1.html (external link)

if you want a shop in Europe with interesting prices, try this : www.topvision.lu (external link)
Since 2001, I've bought there 3 digital cameras, one vid-cam and a neg-scanner,
never had a problem, prices were lower than elsewhere (not all prices are lower, check before buying...)

Thank you again. It seems that its reputation is not good. It's a pitty because their prices for the 20D are very good. Probably they do not have it in stock and do this prices only to be the first ones in the price search machines.

I tried to order from technidirect last year. It seems that they
direct your order to a shop. I find it a bit weird because it appears
that you don't always know who you are ordering from.

I got a lens from www.ny-camera.com (external link), which took a long time to arrive.
Maybe it wasn't in stock. I didn't like the packaging it came in as the parcel
obviously contained photographic equipment. Too risky in my opinion.

My 20D is from www.ac-foto.com (external link), Their service is excellent.
Phone contact is almost instant, emails are answered quickly.
I placed my order for the 20D the day before it was delivered
to the shop, they ups-ed it to me the day it arrived in their shop
and it was in my hands three days later. Exciting...

Yes, I know very well fotoboom, I bought a couple of lenses from them. They have a real shop in Madrid and they also deal by the internet. Only issue for foreign buyers is that they do not accept payments by Visa. You must do a bank transfer which can be expensive from abroad.
Now I was looking for a Extreme III compact flash card, and this german shop have it for only 125€/1Gb, it looks onteresting but....
I don´t want to buy from outside Europe to avoid duties and taxes. Once I bought a 420EX from Adorama, was 170 USD ans at the end I had to pay 220€ including everything (even dispatching costs to UPS).

You give your location as Spain.
Money transfers from bank to bank in the Euro zone have been
free for about a year now, though I think there is an upper limit.

I bought Lexar Prof. 1GB for about €150 from ac-photo.
I paid the UPS-guy the full amount (COD).

Somebody mentioned http://www.topfoto-online.de/ (external link)
where the card you are looking for retails at €129 plus shipping.
I read about them after I had ordered my stuff, otherwise this
shop might have been my choice.

Thank you deeply I will try this eshop in Germany.
n the meantime I phoned technikdirect, they told me that the card is not yet in stock. They will receive them in November. I think is a trick they do only for getting new customers in ther web.

I have used this shop in Germany many times and have found them to be reliable and to be the lowest prices I can find.

I do live in Germany though and was able to make a bank transfer and get shipping within Germany.
