Sorry is this is old news but I heard someone from the project being interviewed this morning on the radio and he was saying that the hoped for sponsorship of £150,000 for the 2008 airshow costs/coverage had not been met because of the "economic downturn".
If I heard correctly they need the £150K to kick start the year and then £50k per month during th airshow season. He said that he hoped that any/all companies & individuals will, as before during the restoration period, manage to come up with the monies.

I for one was hoping to one day see this unique old warbird fly and for the privilege will be making a donation over the weekend, it may not be much but every little bit I hope will help.
