O.K., I admit it, I've fallen in love with my 1DIIn. I love the way it feels, handles, shoots and well....just about everything about the camera.

This is my first 1D body.

How about the rest of you 1DII folks?

:D

(If there's a similar thread...my apologies)

**EDIT BY CDS***

We have a growing number of *Fan clubs revolving around specific bodies.
I thought I'd make a collection of them, so we can find them and keep them organized (merge in new ones etc)

The Master list is here

Feel free to point us to other models or threads that could be merged.

* WARNING: By posting in this or any of the linked threads you are wholly admitting in no uncertain terms that you are a snot nosed, milk drinking, knee biting, curtain climbing unabashed Canon Fanboy who's opinions must be taken with several large grains of kosher salt.

The 1D2n is probably my one possession that I feel the most attachment to -- while I enjoy using lots of other things, the 1D2n is just so comfortable and for me intuitive that I can just work without it getting in my way. The other day I had to shoot something with a rebel XT and while it was a fine camera and the image that I produced was a good one, it was a very good feeling to put the mark 2 back in my hands.

i love mine
i have huge hands, and nothing else in the canon range feels "right" in my hands (as a 1d, not just my 2n)
i got mine brand new, when they were on special a few months before the mk3 was released

I love my IIN too. I probably would have gotten the III if I could have afforded it when it came out and I was making the decision but I'm more than thrilled with my IIN. It should last me for years.

I have had three MKIII and all returned because the MKIIn keeps performing better than the MKIII....... Once the AF is fixed, the MKIII will be killer

I love mine. So comfortable compared to any non 1-series DSLR (or SLR for that matter, although my old EOS3 w/booster came close).

I think it has the most satisfying shutter sound out of them all too.

I shot my son's football games for 3 years now, (little league) I had never smiled so big on the field as big as the 1st day I fired off a burst of shots with my (new to me)1D2N. It is so fun!! The quality of shots combined with my 70-200 L IS it's like poetry in motion! :D

Mine's never missed a beat and the only thing left to do is pair it with a 1Ds2 now that the used prices have come down from the stratosphere.
