The 24-70. I've rented one and am now planning to switch my 24-105 for one.

If it were me, I would get the 24-70 L. I would rather have the extra stop then the extra reach.

I'm so excited! I just traded my 50D for a 1D2! It should be here early next week. I cant' wait to try it out. I just hope I don't miss the high iso on the 50D...I found it to be very clean when exposed properly. But I'm looking very much foward to the 1D2's AF!

Hurry up weekend! Is it Monday yet?

After I bought my 1D2, I sold my 50D. I never used it anymore. The only thing I miss is the 50D's fabulous screen on the back.

Amen to that. I think the only thing that the 1D2 lacks is a decent screen. Great camera overall though. I can't wait to see what they'll put in the Mark IV whenever it comes out.

Well that was a reason for the N, wasn't it? :p I love my Mark II. I do hate the screen but it's not so much hate, it just sets me up to be disappointed by the photos but you know the rest ;)

Hi everyone, I haven't been around here for a while but I am in need of some help.
When I open up the memory card door on my MKII it gets stuck (it used to swing open), I have to then stick my nail in between the gap to open it. It's not a major problem , just a bit impractical.
Has anyone else had this problem and is there a was to fix it?
Or should I just sent it off to canon and have a full clean while they're at it...

I just buy a 1DMKII for 800 eur, 29000 actuations, very good condition, I hope is a good price.
I mainly used for birding with a 100-400... I want to see if the servo is better than my 30D, I miss a lot of flying images with it. What do you think?

Thanks to all!

The 1D Mark IIN is an amazing tool. I can't think of too many times the camera failed me. If I miss a shot it's usually because I'm not quick enough not the camera.

Yeah 1d2/1d2N smokes the 30D at AI Servo tracking.
