I don't see any need to get a new body any time soon. for Sub $1K (shoot the one I saw was $775 with 2 batteries) it's an amazing camera and a steal considering people are trying to sell 40D's for $600. Not just the 1DmkIV but I suspect the 7D has some play in this too :P
