Nope, not that I'm aware of you need to use the shutter release cable.

One of my friends managed to find a VERY CHEAP shutter release cord that cost all of $3 from China. Rick Rose - Add me!

It's not real high quality in its build, but it has worked flawlessly. I believe it is a Phottix brand. I certainly can't complain about it. I can shoot single shot, high speed burst, 2 second delay, and bulb modes. I use it quite often and love it! Eric

That's my main combo right now, 1DII N with EC-S screen and 1D II with EC-B screen. Usually 24-70L or 135L on the 1DII N and 100-400L on the 1DII. flickr

The 24-70 hasn't left my 1Ds II so I don't know whats that combo is like. The new 1D2 will probably live with the 50 1.4 for my weddings now. Canon 1D Mark IV | Canon 50mm f/1.8 STM

kevinmcdade Senior Member 603 posts Joined Jan 2008 Location: McKinney, TX More info | I have a question for the 1D Mark II experts or to anyone who access to a manual. I currently use my * button to AF. Is there a way to move the AF function to the next button over...the WB button? That would make it match up to where the AF-ON button is on my 1D Mark III. It really messes with me when I'm using the two bodies to shoot an event. -KMc-
