Yup the sensor is half covered. Or more like 25% covered. I'm going in to a local camera store today to get it checked out.

What's funny (to me) is that I immediately recognized this as being from Singapore, before I even saw that you are from Singapore. I like this shot, with the sunlight streaming through!

haha, our high-rise housing's getting international recognition I see ;) Thanks for the comment! T'was sunlight shining through thick incense smoke as people burned incense paper as part of a tradition for this time of the year. Looks like morning mist eh? Sure doesn't smell like that though...

I like the b&w on this one too...really seems to add to the mood of the image!

I just shot a soccer with a 7d on my 300 and my 2n on the 70-200. I'm very happy with the AF speed and image quality of the 7d, though as I've never used a 7d before the game I was fumbling a bit with controls. Kept turning on live view by accident. If you can stand the loss of some weather sealing and the separate grip, the two work together very well. For myself, I'm sticking with 1-series cameras, I just can't give up the build quality and sealing.

I think I'm going to do the same. I want a 1d3 now
