So for me, the fact that pressing the shutter always, Always, ALWAYS takes a picture when I press it is for the best. I'm an old skool manual focuser so it's how I used to work anyways, focus first, then take the picture with no delay. flickr

The lens is a 100-400L, usually at full stretch and wide open. pied babbler IMAGE LINK: http://www.flickr.com …/29318677@N07/5074257159/ grey heron IMAGE LINK: http://www.flickr.com …/29318677@N07/5074264253/ crimson breasted shrike A very difficult and frustrating bird to photograph. Being small it hides in bushes and only a part of the bird is visible, usually the crimson breast. I made dozens of shots but this is the clearest one despite the obvious OOF blade of grass over the lower half of the bird.
