I'm seeing banding in the 40D shots and a smooth consistent grain in the 1D2 (which is what the 1D2's are known for) that looks much nicer. Alexander R.O.

I really should have brought my tripod with me, it was in the boot of the MINI but I neglected to bring it, silly me.
