Any idea what the gping used rate for these cameras is? I'm seeing a wide swing, and was curious what is generally accepted to be normal.

Depending on condition, you're looking $800-$1300 R6, 6D EF 24-70 MkI - TS-E 90mm 2.8 - EF 85mm 1.8 - Σ 50mm 1.4 - Σ 15mm 2.8

These are both plain 1D2 ( not the "N" version ). Both from KEH regards, george w

I have been thinking of buying a used 1D MKII, what I am wondering is it how much of a improvement would it be for me to switch? Would it be worth it or? I am thinking yes it would be but I am looking for input from people who have maybe already done the switch and might have some advise for me. Chris

Before I had sent mine in I was getting visible banding beginning around ISO1000-1250 and a lot of my shooting is at 1600 so it had to go in ASAP. Took about 4 weeks if I remember right, sure glad I had a backup body to shoot during that time. Alexander R.O.

The owner of the camera took it back without even looking at the pictures I provided him of the banding issue. So I believe he knew about it when selling to me. It just didn't show up when I was testing it to make the purchase. Anyways, I had high hopes for it but now it looks like I'll keep my 1D2 and invest in better lenses instead. I need to stay out of the buy/sell forum. It's burning a hole in the wallet...

I still use both. Using the 1D is a pretty steep learning curve..thankfully i met someone else who was very experienced with 1D bodies and i learned a lot from him. What I noticed was better metering, better image sharpness SOOC, thinner DOF(the 1D behaves more like a FF instead of a 1.6X) and most significantly a better overall image colour profile. The 1d2n responds nicely to PP while colour adjustments on the 50D's files almost drove me crazy.
