How is the resolution on the zoom playback for everyone?
When I zoomed in in playback, every picture looked soft. When I uploaded them to the computer, they looked fine.

the screen on the II sucks. thats all there is to it. its good enough to have an idea of focus but sure as hell aint sharp! ive learned what is good and not good using that screen tho.

Alright, well that's good to know that it's not my camera that's at fault. But bad in a way that I was expecting a decent playback quality.

After shooting my first baseball game, I was scared coming home to a card full of soft pictures.

....and that's the important part ! :D
The screen is good for checking general composition, looking for blinkies, and if you are a histogram junkie. But it's not so good for checking exposure or focus.
