Another question: I've just received my new battery, how many times I have to do the full discharge and charge for optimum power ?

Not sure how many times but when I got my new battery, I charged it fully then put it through a fresh refresh cycle before using it.

You're lucky you have a fiance that shares your passion for photography....have fun and post back often.

I just looked at EXIF data for all the photos in your Flickr, and none of them are taken with the 50 mm f/1.4 as far as I can see. Can you post a direct link to the image(s) in question, please?

/Kenneth

Just got a 1d2 + 2 batteries + charger on ebay for $670, I will be selling my XSi and EF-S lenses to upgrade! I'm thinking of getting the 70-200 4.0 L Because my sigma lens has very anoying chromatic abberation at it's 200-300mm range. When I can afford it, the 100-400 looks very appealing. Ducks incoming very soon!
