Works pretty good---quick and keeps things out of the way--my only problem is that the neck strap is not soft and squishy on my neck like the optec pads......but it does work well. Scott

Normal straps really bind on nylon/gortex winter gear. This one doesn't and it is easy to get the camera up and shoot with it. Obsessive Gear List

More info | i saw a pic of one in another forum yesterday and decided to buy one today. looks so much better than dorky logo straps and has to be better than having something something around the neck. have not actually tried it obviously but i think it should work well enough. The tripod mount is really a b)(^% to find parts for, but they're out there. Just the bottom I LOVE the idea... I used to just sling the camera sideways across me, but it doesn't work too well if you're wearing too many layers.

If you change lenses, it looks like a pain. I guess if you're using 2 cameras, it would work well. Gear: Canon 1Ds MkII, 35L, 85L, 135L, 24-105L
