Yup....
I am starting to do more weddings, and other big shoots, so I need more\better batteries!
I am looking for about 12, rechargeable AA batteries, with a few chargers (or one large one)
Charging time does not matter to me.
Please post only B&H, Amazon, Circuit City, or Best Buy links to the product(s)
Try to find some batteries with a reasonable price for 12 of them with charger(s). I'd like them to last a nice while on one charge. They will all, mainly be used for my 430EX flash, but if needed also for my Rebel XTi (Not too often, thanks to my 2 batteries and grip)
Anyway...
Please only post B&H, Amazon, Circuit City, or Best Buy links, don't just say the brand and expect me to find the correct battery,
Price range: No more than $75 for 12 rechargeable, and charger (hopefully I wont have to spend this much)

I know of an absolutely great, fabulous, long life battery but don't have the B&H link handy. Sorry.

I could help you if I wasn't restricted to B&H only.

I can get 12 pearstone, 2900mAh, 1.2v batteries with 3, 4 battery chargers, for $60
Is this too much for too little? Is this a correct price for these batteries, or can I get better batteries for same price\cheaper?

I currently use 5, 1700mAh 1.2v energizer rechargeable batteries, they work good, but don't last TOO long. Well, they do last a while, but the flash recharge time starts to slow down within about 10-20 flashes,

Does this have to do with the mAh or volts?? If mAh then I am going for these pearstones,

I've been using Maha for years and have been happy. You didn't mention Newegg but that's one place I know has them:

You can also get them straight from Maha:

I'm not sure who else carries them. B&H doesn't though, I wish they did.

Im really fond of Monster Battiers, bought them years ago for when I used a Sony DSC-H1 for my photography, now they power my 580EX and can last a long time.

If there's a Costco Wholesale Club nearby, they have Eneloop kits for $26. 8XAA, 4XAAA, charger, box and 2XC/2XD adaptors. Get 2 kits. The Eneloops are the newest technology batteries, Low Self Discharge. Even though they are only rated at 2000 mAh, they will give as many flashes as the higher capacity batteries and you can charge them and put them away for 6 months and they'll still be 90% charged.

Try this page on Amazon:

http://www.amazon.com …eywords=Eneloop&x=20&y=12 (external link)

And this is the kit that is $26 at Costco and I have 2 of:

http://www.amazon.com …ics&qid=1203821936&sr=8-5 (external link)

That first link has several Eneloop battery combos, and you will not hear anyone say anything bad about them. Or the RayOVac Hybrids or Thomas Distributing Imedions.

And I got a bunch of ROV Hybrids at Target. They are excellent batteries also.

YMMV

Thomas Distributing has Maha Imedions on sale until 2/29. You can get 12 of these for just under $30. I've had really good success with these in a Maha charger. And Thomas Distributing accepts PayPal and ships faster than most companies I know of.

Here's the link:

Recommended Charger (also on sale) (external link)

That would be about $90 total for the best batteries and charger out there right now (IMHO).

Also, use Code: GCNE562 in the Gift Certificate field at checkout and get another 5% off. :D
