Hello,

Im a relatively newcomer to photography, so be easy....

These were shot today with a Nikon D40X w/ 55-200VR and a Cannon 500D.

Any coments would be great.

I think the DOF on #3 is perfect. Love how it turned out.

I love number 3. The pollen budds are all in focus and I love the colors. Number 1 would have had great potential if the very center was in focus. Maybe a little more DOF would have helped. I'm no pro, but all the shots came out pretty good! I love the color though. I envy you! Heck I can't even go to the stores and buy flowers with this kind of color. Can you send me some? :D

A quick question about #1...is that a hair in the top left portion on the picture?

I love all of the colors you have taken....the first series is spot on!

not sure wat was on #1, but i could not touch it to move it off. ill try to photoshop it out, but it dosent really bother me much.

These were all taken with a nikon D40x, 55-200VR, and the canon 500d close up filter.

thanks.... in addition im looking for a tripod.... anyone have any luck with this?
somthing light and easy to cary, but stable.....
