Hey guys I was wanting to make a link button of my photography biz to put on people's myspace pages. I am not sure how it works though. Can anyone explain to me how I set this button up so that I can post it on the web? Sorry if that is the wrong way to word it.

PS makes the graphic only , the part that writes the code that makes it a button on a web page is done in something like Dreamweaver ,,,, unless Myspace has options integragrated into its code that allows you to use your images as page components or linking you cant do what you want ,,,, Im not familiar with myspace but its writing code your after .

Learn HTML.

The way this is usually done is to provide the HTML code that will load the button and will publish the hyperlink. You will need to put your button image on the Internet or upload it to your myspace. You will need to be able to link directly to the image, not to a web page. Flickr is free and will let you link directly to just the image (JPG or GIF) file.

1) Create your button image in Photoshop and save it as a JPG or GIF image file.
2) Upload it to where you can link to just the image file
3) Tell people to put this HTML code (edited for your alt text and image location) in the mySpace profiles bit:

<a><img src ="URL location to image file" alt="replace this with some text" which appears when you hover over image"/></a>

You could also use a DIV or TABLE element if you want to place the button at a specific location.
