Two shots as part of a sequence. I seem to be hit and miss with these shots. Some turn out focused others not. Camera is set on M mode, AI focus, continuous shooting. The lens is an EF70-300 IS USM 4/5.6

Both shots are at ISO 400, 160mm Focal Length, f7.1, 1/1250

Should I be turning the IS off on the lens and be panning with them?

Comments please.

(Still figuring out the Save for Web with PS)

Cheers, Shayne

Are you using a set single focus point (center) or multiple focus points? And which body are you using?

XTi and I was using a single (center) focus point. I think I was pointing it on the eye of the furthest dog. Sorry, can't remember.
