GP2 in Dubau - UAE

Hi to one and all, I have just discovered this forum through a mate of mine and thought it would be a good place to have some of my shots assessed by fellow photographers be those professionals or otherwise.

I would like to get some feedback on the images I take here in Dubai at our one and only circuit. I do supply to magazines locally and have my own web site which I set up for fun and so that the guy's and gal's who either race or participate on track days etc have somewhere to view them.

I am very critical of my own work but I am always looking to improve my technique or my work in any way possible. I will start to post up images as and when I get the time but will start with this image I took recently as the GP2 cars came to Dubai as the season opener for the Asian series, let me know what you think

Its a nice shot but it seems a little underexposed? The colours aren't as vibrant as they could be...

Mate good to see you on POTN. Need to post larger images, min 800px to do that picture justice. I can see a GP2 shootout coming!

The image was shot around 3pm in the afternoon which is a real nice time here in Dubai as the colors are usually really warm and punchy but, typically, the clouds rolled in and we lost a load of light and the image was shot at 1/3 underexposed. The reason behind this is that for post image work for the E-mag which sends out up to date news as the event is actually still on, the guy who looks afetr the site wants the stuff slightly under as apposed to over exposed, that way he can dial in the image as he likes...

Another quick question Flyingwelshman, to get a larger image to view but keeping it within the image upload restrictions, which is the best way to do this?

That is a nice shot is maybe a little to dark for me too though like the angle also
