Not sure if this was successful. I was trying to get an interesting shot of a piano keyboard and name plate without a flash. I had difficulty getting good exposure both on the keys and on the name plate due to high contrast of the two surfaces. The DOF is thin and I dont know if it helps or hurts the shot. I shot it hand-held. I could probably done better by tripoding the shot with slower SS and greater DOF.
85mm, Iso 1600, f/2.8, 1/40, highlight tone priority, several areas spot metered and averaged...

I think that would have made the shot better. I would have liked to see the keys in more detail.

Thank you both shack and glowie for the comments. I may try it again on a tripod or with more light for better DOF.

i agree with the others, and i think you should also crop that top ledge out of it with the reflection.
