So, posting has ended and I will post the winner.

And the winner is 1st place.. Pete I just loved your crocus or is croci for plural? Either It is a wonderfully executed shot and beautifully tack sharp. And I love your Depth of field for this shot. It exemplfies Spring for me.

2nd place...is a tie both for Flo and Aerosmith. I have to say...I am a sucker for flowers and you two have some of the best looking flower macros I have seen in a while. Flo, I love thelay of light on the rose; it gives it a little more than the straight forward marco shots that most take. And Aerosmith the closeup of the Iris is just breathtaking.

3rd...Beau Hudspeth it is a beautiful shot of an early moring on the river. I can feel the light chill in the air when it is Spring when I look at this shot. Just Beautiful and I love the effect the flare gives to the image.

So, congrats to all the winners and I have to say it was a very difficult decision and I had a hard time making up my mind...Everyone did such a wonderful job.

By the way, I am feeling much better now. :) Thanks for the concern.

Great job all! Have to admit the images by Pete and AeroSmith are my favorites, the Iris is such a beautiful flower.

Woohoo... I really didn't think I'd win this one. I simply had to go out and shoot those early risers. Within two weeks of me shooting it, we had a few hard frosts which killed them all off. The dafodills are coming out now though.

I'll take a think about the next one, then get something up later on today.
