Taken yesterday of the Grand Canyon Train pushing snow to reach the Depot. Tracks were completely covered, train had a small blade on the front to scape off the rails...steve

Some stuff that says "Canon" on it and a happy trigger finger.

What a lovely shot. You did a great job of getting the exposure on the engine with all the snow around.

If I could pick out one thing that I might change is to crop the image closer to the engine. I find that the snow at the bottom a bit too much on this otherwise great image.

Something like this:

IMAGE NOT FOUND
HTTP response: 404 | MIME changed to 'image/gif' | Byte size: ZERO | PHOTOBUCKET ERROR IMAGE

Good positioning and framing with the trees.

thanks loads for sharing.

Photographs are records of life. Pity they don't make music when you put them in a record player. :p

There is something odd about the trees and the lighting that make it look like a painting. What a great capture, perfect spot. I like the full length crop. I was just on the railway 2 weeks ago and missed the good snow I guess.
