Oh yes, I love it. It could be a rail enthusiasts Xmas card.

Just one thing, is it me or is it slightly tilted to the left?

I'd love to go back and visit that area in the winter, and that shot just verifies that! I can sense the snow, sun, crisp clear air and almost smell the evergreen trees too!

I like it when a photo does that! :-)

Thanks everyone for your comments, glad you enjoyed the train in the snow. I went down to this spot with a friend, he parked in deep snow and the vehicle was stuck. We were only 15 feet from the tracks, lucky he didn't get stuck on the tracks. So while waiting to be pulled out, we shot the train as it came out of the woods around noon, and the clouds opened for the blue sky. I don't think the shot is tilted, maybe just the way the track is angled or the trees leaning. steve

Nice pic. Made good use of some forced down time.

Thanks Jeff, yeah we went down there to see the train, but didn't expect to be stranded. It was fun anyway....steve

There is something odd about the trees and the lighting that make it look like a painting. What a great capture, perfect spot. I like the full length crop. I was just on the railway 2 weeks ago and missed the good snow I guess.

I noticed the lighting too...Very cool "effect" even though I don't think it was an effect at all, just good shootin'
