Ok, so in lightroom if you want to send a picture to an online lab. Exporting will not apply the ICC profiles. You have to use an external program to do it.

I tried Photoshop, but it is a slow process. One picture at a time. What a mess.

How Do You Export JPG's with ICC Profiles from Lightroom?

Really?

It does not apply printer ICC profiles to be more exact. But that was the context.

you are talking about colour space? if so when you export the image settings tab you can change the colour space to Aobe RGB, sRGB or ProphotoRGB, if this isnt what you are talking about disregard my comment, also you dont need to do it one at a time in PS, change your colour space before you open your images then any images that are processed with have the new colour space, use the image processor option to batch process and you dont even have to open each image individual to the workspace just chose the source folder then destination folder

Well, it's easy enough to make a Convert to Profile action in PS, then run a batch on your folder of images.

But are you sure you need to? If your printer has provided an ICC profile, it's probably just for soft-proofing purposes, I doubt they need you to convert.

OMG, found a great solution.

morgify. This will apply the ICC profile from a simple command line program (imagemagik morgify).

command options: +profile Costco-CA-Fremont-Lus.icc

I think I'm going to donate to morgify. ;)

Well I brought it into safari to verify. Looks good. Now time to print.

This should work. Especially for people who are not memory limited.

Yes, Mogrify works really well for this. Other option is a Photoshop Droplet to run your action automatically on export, but I'd go with Mogrify if I were you.

Yes, Morgify is the least painful when I want a quick output.

I'd still like to hear from the OP about this.

Well I would have to understand soft proofing. Is this to set the soft-proof in photoshop and if your picture looks good, then the sRGB will look good at the lab? Then I haven't tested that.

Actually I'm not sure I know what soft-proofing is?

When printing from Costco Dry Creek Photo, the company responsible for calibrating the printers and providing profiles, recommends converting the image to the ICC profile and then saving the image without the profile embedded.

You can read about it here:
