I took a quick snapshot, or a series of snapshots of the moon just now...

I quickly sharpened it a bit but I still think I'm missing something. I cropped it to 16:9 so I could use it as a background on my laptop.

Here's an unscientific comparison how important lighting is when determining the sharpness of a lens. These images were shot 1 second apart where my off camera flashes didn't trigger for one of the pictures. I know it's not a perfect comparison since the shutter speed is too slow without flash but I found it interesting to post anyway.

1/125s, f/6.3, ISO 400, 163mm. YN-468 & 560 through two white umbrellas.

I... don't see much of a difference in sharpness? At least nothing the lens would affect.
