I know what you mean, i always think mine has a little something special about it (although im not sure exactly what it is, i think its magic or voo-doo ;))
On a side note, youl love the tammy too, i got 1 very recently and ive fallen inlove with it

i use mine for day sports.. soccer mainly.. and love it..

the tammy.. i borrowed one. and didnt like it much.. and even the guy i borrowed it from said it is on his sale list including his 70-200 f4 non is... as he wants a 70-200 2.8 is

not the best i know.. wb maybe off too. im saving up for spyder4 to calibrate my monitor.. gonna be a few weeks though.. :confused:

I forgot my 70-200 F4L at home today but the 55-250 did a pretty good job at the airport.

These photos were taken at Pearson (YYZ) airport in Toronto.
There are a couple of landing approaches over commercial business parks where the aircraft come in really close overhead and alllow pretty good shots with the 55-250.
