To all of those who say the 55-250 is not a lowlight lens? Bracketing and mulitple shots plus the right settings can create keepers. I see L lenses do much worst.........

I got 1 of these a few days ago too, aint it a great bit of kit, especially for the price, nice little combo the tammy and nifty250, im now trying to decide between the tammy 70-200mm f2.8 or the canon 70-200mm f4

Yeah it's a nice lens alright, it was an upgrade from my kit 18-55 non IS and it just blows it away in every respect. The 70-200 f/4 will be my next lens but I'm very happy with the nifty two fifty for now, don't think I'll ever get rid of it :)

I just sold my Tammy 70-300 (the one with all the initials after it). I found it very inconsistent on focus, and it couldn't hold a candle to my 55-250, which I had sadly sold. I just bought another Nifty Two Fifty, and I'm a very happy girl. Between that and my EF-S 300 f/4L IS, I'm good to go. Now all I want is a wide angle (either the 10-22 or the 15-85) and I think I'm set.
