I have been looking at this lens and this thread for a long time then finally bought a used one, at first I thought meh, but then I tested it outside of my room....

Some nifty 250 pseudo macro :) ISO 1600 with the popup flash. Looks better if you click on the image and go to the largest size.

Man, in your hands that lens is awesome! That's as good detail as I would expect from an L.

I've had this lens for almost 3 years. It's still the lens I recommend to friends buying a telezoom on a budget. Lovely lens, for the price especially.
