A little golden hour, from the 50-250. Nice bokeh, for such a lens.

Very best,

I just love that this lens can very much indeed produce beautiful bokeh! Lovely shot.

Some of the pics in this thread are very sharp, some are not. Does it depend on what camera is used, skill of photographer, each individual lens?

That of course and at times depends on the site used to share pics. Always try to look at the original. Sometimes when the pic is shared resolution is lost.

Wow, the sharpness, color and clarity is amazing from this little lens, especially considering you, no doubt, needed a steady hand shooting from your vantage point. Very nice!

I don't think it is the camera, unless there is something wrong with it. It can be the site used to upload. Some are not to good. It can also be the photographer. Can be technique in shooting. Or even in post processing. When I first got this lens I posted a couple of photos and they were all soft. Someone went and worked on them and they were amazingly sharp. It could be so many things causing soft pictures you can't always pinpoint what one or more of the reasons are. But it is not often the equipment.

Where was the catamaran pic taken? I'd rather be there than here with 3' of snow on the ground.
