Sorry, if i did bad.

Winter here is showing it's first signs of letting go. I thought the the topic should be about the turning of a season, snow melting, trees or flowers blooming, people's activities. I'm not sure what happens during springtime in the UK, but I would not mind seeing it.

If people agree that it's to generic, I'll gladly change to something more specific

Delayed Spring

Title: Delayed Spring
Camera: Canon S3IS

A recent freeze got this tree budding out. Spring will come - it's just been a little delayed.

Looking for a spring meal

S3 with 1.5x extender
Shutter - 1/250
Aperture - F3.5

Took this today from the loft of my hay barn, Canadian Lynx (Northern relative of the Bob Cat) appeared in far corner of my back field and for one hour it stalked a rabbit (snow shoe hair) Finally the chase was on, the rabbit out run the lynx and lived to tell the tail.

I too am anxious for Spring to arrive but we're still a month or so away from birds chirping and flowers blooming so I had to get a little creative. I shot this one tonight, despite what the time stamp in the EXIF may say (changed batteries & forgot to reset).

No chance of anything even remotely spring from me this challenge, we still have seasaw weather, -8º some days, 15º the next .. and wind speeds of 50 MPH - I just lost 3 fences and the roof aerial, plus my boiler's packed in, so i'm ruddy cold right now.

Battle damage can hardly compare with whats posted here. The pictures on this challenge are by far the best i've seen in some time - best of luck everyone.
