You really need both to properly edit your photos. Well, you need some image editing program, it doesn't need to be PS but LR integrates well with PS. --Mike--

Budget wise I am not ready for both but maybe I will start with LR then move to PS next month when I win the lottery?

When this was announced I had high hopes in the way of key wording and managing the images that I have. As of today I have over 63,000 images in one catalog and almost as many in a second. I think it may be reaching its limit as far as speed goes. If you don't mind waiting for a bit while it retrieves the info it is good. My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.
