After a bit of discussion earlier today about macro panoramics, I thought I would post this one. Made up of only 4 shots, in 2 rows. Not too dramatic of a photo, but it is a fun thing to play with instead of the usual landscape panoramics.

Very interesting. With the detail you usually get in macro photography, I'd think that would make it more difficult to stitch together successfully. You did a good job on this one!

While I'm not sure I'd call it a "Panorama", It sure looks nice. :D
This reminds me of a compilation of shots that somebody put together using pano stitching tools for shots of the Grand Canyon. I think they used a 2 mg camera, but by the time they were done, the resolution was "PHENOMINAL!" I wish I could remember where I had seen it.

The Captain and crew finally got their stuff together, now if we can only remember where we left it.

I think you're talking about this one: http://www.tawbaware.com/maxlyons/gigapixel.htm (external link)

It was done in Bryce Canyon, Utah. Not the Grand Canyon.

No problem. I remembered the photographer calling it the first "gigapixel" image, so I sent Google looking for that word and it was right up there at the top... :)
