Very nice pictures. I also enjoyed the story. Glad you were able to live a dream. Sounds like the second half could have been dropped.

I love all of them. I would love to see more from different locations.

Neilyb, I read the whole thing, that is a great compilation of images and commentary. The crater lake image and the booby spearing into the water are my favorite. "Lobhead", ha, still laughing. I am American, but after a few trips to different parts of this world, I understand. I am struggling trying to decide if I go to crater lake or not, I am sure it would stay overcast if I go up there. Your information is truly helpful and I appreciate the post.

I see you did Cuba too, I wait for the day I can go, I promised myself, I would be on the first commecial flight.

Those are amazing. I read the story as well. I could only hope of taking pics as lovely as those. Again, simply amazing shots.

I loved the photos, but I think I liked your storytelling even more. Thanks for taking the time and effort to post such a detailed and enjoyable tale of your trip. (i was laughing pretty hard at your bus rides!).

Very nice. The pictures can speak for themselves but you are very eloquent. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Very nice photos and narrative of the Galapagos, I am also going for a 10 day expedition. Gives me something to look forward too, and what to look for.

Take care
