as the title suggest I am looking for real opinions I am looking to edit photos and I have lightroom and aperture but would like to work with layers so it;s off to CS3 for me. I have an opportunity to get the extended version for a phenomenal price due to Package damage but when I go to the Adobe site it doesn't really sound like the same program with additional functions as the name would suggest. Is it in fact the same program with additional functions or not does anyone have it or does anyone know?

The extended version of CS3 is the exact same program with a couple of other additions as shown in the attached.

My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

Largely unnecessary additions in our line of work IMO.
