Morning all,

New user here.

I have a 1D and am now looking to get some Studio lights to do some family portraits. I have no experience and need some help with what I need to start off/best kit to get. Do I need 2 or 3 heads?
My budget is around £700 initially.
Have looked at a couple of Bowens kits, will this come with a lead which my 1D can control the flashes?

Any help would be gratefully received.

Alex

There are many threads on this. Do a search above "studio lights" or just look down the page and in the Talk about Photography section.
