a720is or wait for a590is?

Iam a newbie on digital cameras.Sorry but i don't know anything about specs. I was wondering if some one could help in comparing the specs. on the 590 and the 720 and tell me the pros and cons of each.You can find them at the canon web site.The 720 has a 6x zoom a the 590 4x zoom.Would that be make major difference to you?The 590 has a new motion detection system for less blur.That sounds interesting to me, i know blurring can be a problem .The 590 is 179.00 u.s. the 720 is 229.00 canon suggested retail .That makes me think that the 590 maybe not as good. But with electronics last years model could of cost more than this year.Any pros out there have a opinon on this.The 590s are in today i just got a email from a store. Thanks to any replies to help me make up my mind.

I would still buy the a720is though, it seems a more serious camera and have a better zoom range (and lens quality?) The a5xx-series is still a lower priced series than the a7xx-series even if the 590 looks nice.

The 590 is also available at B&H. Sorry, but I have no advice as to which one is the best.

i just purchased the 720 got it today. LOVE IT! I looked at the 590 I didnt like it at all and im glad i went with the 720
