Alrighty, seen a shot in one of my parenting mags similar to these. So I thought I would try me out some photos!

What do you guys think?

She was happy for the most part. But I had to look
like an idiot to get her to smile. She knows now when I pull out the camera its gonna be about her!!!!!!! Smart little 13mth old!!!!!
She has a spot on her butt! I need to do something about that.

These are some very nice shots.. I like everything about them. the only think I would like to see is what they would look like with a b/w border.. More so on the 1st one.. But I am just being picky.. I do like them they way they are, I am just curious of what it would look like with a b/w.. Good job as always.. :)

Cute shots, mind me asking what pink color that was? I'm having such a hard time deciding on colors, that one isn't so bad.

Anyways, cute shots like I said. I would crank the saturation in the first a bit more, 5-10 range perhaps. The B&W is cute, I'd run some more levels on it, its a bit greyscaled to me, try 15, 1.00, 235 and see if it looks a bit better. As for the spot, is it natural spots on her skin or sensor dust? If its the former, leave them be, its part of her so they should be there. if the latter, clone away. ;)

LOVE them! I've been thinking about gettting some pink paper.... How cute is that with the little tights!

Your lighting looks really nice, and I agree that the B&W could use some contrast or shadow/highlight play. :)

The first one is just precious - I love it - she is really cute!
I think the B &W could use a little play for a better conversion, but other than that it's really cute too! Nice job :)

I will have to go through some of my records and PM you. I ordered from this place online and I waited so patiently to play with my new pink paper. When I opened the tube it was GREEN!! UGH! So when I called the guy was super nice and told me just to KEEP the green for FREE and they would get out the pink right away!!!!! I did not have high hopes for the green but tried it out on little boys and I LOVE IT!!! Sorry I wrote a story! Here is a pic. with it.....

I will work on it, I am always afraid it will look unnatural

I had a shoot through umbrella pointed in her direction on my right. And a fill umbrella farther back on the right at 1/2 power.

OH NO! LMCAO. I guess one of the perks of ordering online, I go pick mine up at a local store 3 hours away, so if I get the wrong one, its becuz I put the wrong in the car! LOL
The green isn't bad, I suspect it would be a good one and looks like it too.
If you find out the names PM me, I'd love to know, they look very pleasing.

those are nice...and I really like that color of pink and the green can make for some nice spring pictures...

I agree with Kristy that the black and whites could use some contrast but eitherthing else is great...
