With the foam it looks kind of James Bondish. Looks safer than the dividers too.

Now with Padded Dividers. I get more stuff in , but not everything. Great day case though, need to get padded divider for the 1600 to store all my other gear.

wow, there is so much wasted space in there. you could stack the flashes on top of each other, stack the diffusers, mount the lens to your camera and end up with another section for more stuff.

I finally broke down and got a Pelican 1510 with the 1514 pads and I could not be happier. This thing is awesome! I look forward to putting it to good use next week when I travel to NY.

I put together a short YouTube video to demonstrate what is in the bag. (external link)

Just got my 1620 with foam for my studio lighting. Will post setup when I get it all picked and plucked. Love the quality and the wheels/handle. Looking to get one with padded dividers or my gear. Mainly a "home storage" case to hold all that I can roll out for big shoots and then just pick out the stuff I need and put into a small bag.

At first I was hoping the 1514 would be able to work as my gear box but don't think it will be big enough. I have small home office so I want it to be right sized not just giant.

Here is the gear I need to fit in.

Bodies:
5DMK II Gripped with RRS L Plate
30D Gripped with RRS L Plate

Lenses:
24-105L
70-200mm L 2.8 IS
35L
50 1.4
85 1.8

Flashes:
580 EX II
580 EX
430 EX (might need to keep out cause I should just sell it cause it hardly gets any use)

Misc: (probably get a lid organizer for this but wanted to note)
8 AA Batteries
Whibal
CF Cards
StoFen
Sekonic L-358

Any suggestions. Has to be a wheeled/handle model. Would like it to be the smallest I could get away with.

Too funny, I was waiting for someone to post a picture like that. I have a lot of experience with both Pelican cases and Hardigg Storm Cases. I find the Hardiggs superior, especially the latching mechanisms.

It seems Pelican bought Hardigg, so it's all more or less the same now.

I hope they retain the Hardigg latches. They are so much more enjoyable to open. The Pelican ones require significant force, and snap open rather abruptly.

Hardigg is a MA company. On another forum I am a member of they did a "group buy" and we all got SIGNIFICANT discounts.:D

LOL :-) Given what you are keeping in the case I would have though "Significant Force" would have been right up your street :-)
