Now that must have been ear-bleedingly loud.
I SAID, THAT MUST HAVE BEEN... ;)

Very nice but (and it may be my monitor) the shadow areas seem a touch dense. Actually, it might benefit from just a bit more exposure in general (again, it might just be a monitor thing...)

Yeah, try the shadow/highilight tool. That'll help.

Nice shot!

Quick question: How does one become a Harrier pilot? Are those the guys that failed conventional approach landings? ;)

I had the chance to try out a Harrier Simulator that the pilots use down at MCAS Yuma. let me tell you, a Harrier is infinitely more difficult to fly that a standard forward vectoring aircraft. I assume you knew that and were just being sarcastic, but let me say, I consider myself very aircraft knowledgable. And i was downright embarassed how bad i was on this simulator.

Funny thing was, all the pilots were laughing because the first time, they all did the same thing. You try to compensate with the stick in gyro fashion to the nozzle degree angle and end up going nose down and crashing. Harrier pilots require the finesse of a surgeon. You make very tiny movements to keep the aircraft stable. Aircraft were never meant to be tamed in this fashion.

Thank god they'll never let me behind the stick of a real one LOL.

NukeGm, did you see my thread on Yuma? Check it out if you get a chance...

btw, did you shoot raw on these?

Yes I shot raw on all the shots, this one looked better till I down sized it to fit on the site. I tried looking for the thread but could not find it. Send me a link either here or in a PM I would like to see it :)

Sure go here and you can download it. I am learning to do post processing so I am still new to it. I was using the canon software, digital photo professional till it stopped working on my computer. Even after uninstalling & reinstalling it still has a error and closes. So right now I am using rawshooter essentials. Let me see what you can do with this pic :)
