Would the 380EX be OK because they are gong pretty cheap these days? Dan

Most things are just under 2x the price from Adorama and B&H, and you still sometimes get change inc shipping for just a small item - take a diffuser for example. $50 at a local shop, $14 at Adorama + $40 shippng is almost the same, and add just one more thing, and you're way ahead. Doesn't help if the guys in the shops have no clue either, that's half the reason for going local. So after a morning of shopping around, getting blank looks and rediculous quotes I've decided to spend my money overseas, even if it means waiting a bit longer. At least I won't feel ripped off. Plus it's raining, and I hate shopping - unless there's lots of cool gadgets. Well, that sucks! If I had one I would try to get it up to you, but I don't, sorry Michael
