Anyone here know of any Cash Converters or Second Hand Camera Dealers in Sydney with reasonable prices? Im after a couple of cheapish speedlights.

Is it the gold-plated limited edition?

Finding anything useful in a second-hand store is a matter of chance. You'll probably get a better deal on ebay. What do you need them for? Would the 380EX be OK because they are gong pretty cheap these days?

No the 380EX has very limited manual control. Models i am after are:
Nikon SB 25
Nikon SB 26
Nikon SB 28
Nikon SB 80DX
Canon 550EX (Only if the price is good)
Canon 540EZ

Hasselblads are the Rolls-Royce of cameras. Some of their bodies are over $33,000.

I can't believe what a rip-off the prices here in Australia are! Most things are just under 2x the price from Adorama and B&H, and you still sometimes get change inc shipping for just a small item - take a diffuser for example. $50 at a local shop, $14 at Adorama + $40 shippng is almost the same, and add just one more thing, and you're way ahead. Doesn't help if the guys in the shops have no clue either, that's half the reason for going local. So after a morning of shopping around, getting blank looks and rediculous quotes I've decided to spend my money overseas, even if it means waiting a bit longer. At least I won't feel ripped off.
Plus it's raining, and I hate shopping - unless there's lots of cool gadgets.

That's ok, I'll do something else, or put it off till the week after. I might just try the flash on-camera with gels, and with no flash as well.
