Was just chatting with a Financial Review photographer today and The Age has switched back to Nikon since Canon have dealt soo poorly with the MkIII. Fairfax has given back 90% of the MkIIIs and told they never want to see them again. Me thinks Canon are handling this like crap.

Yeh pretty crap for Canon. They have 3 of 12 MkIIIs at the moment and the rest are Ds1, Ds2, D2 and D2Ns

Won't need the macro, got my 100/2.8 already.

On a side note I managed to fix my 50/1.4 enough to use it MF only which doesn't phase me too much since I always like to MF fine-tune anyway.

YAY for me... I've now got AF working on my 50/1.4 from about 1m to infinity. Should come in handy.
