I don't use filters any more. My lenses are naked, just the way they're meant to be.

Same here. I have CirPols in two sizes but rarely use them because they're fiddly and suck too much light. The UVs I don't use at all.

I'm thinking of ordering one later this month, or early next month, thinking we could split postage...

Oh. Sorry dude ... I actually have one arriving tomorrow :(

Had forgotten you wanted one too, and needed it urgently for a shoot ...

Yeah, I have some UV's and CP's, but never use either. I do see the value in the CP's though and probably should use them more.

Whereas I have a Circ. Pol. and use it precisely to suck a couple of stops of light. ;-)a
But then I don't have any NDs or GNDs.

Otherwise I'm filter free (well apart from the hmc uv filter on the macro lens - never saw the point in taking it off).

Oh, now re-thinking about the PRO1's I've got sitting in the B&H shopping cart..

Still wouldn't mind the ND graduated for those sunrise/sunset shots tho

Well when you want to pull this sort of shot off at 1pm in the arvo, cutting some light is pretty much mandatory.

Yeah!! That's right!! 5D FTW!!

We should all get something better than Angus has, then he will be forced to get something better, and therefore waste more of his money!! hehe. Just kidding Angus.

I propose that we all get something better than a 40D and pwn Angus!!
