So you all know about my ordeal with ups not delieveing my package for ups! Well we just had the security call us from the ups here in kansas city. The driver we have has been on this route for 28 years and has never had a problem until this one. Ok thats fine. He said he delivered our package at our door right, We didn't get it blah blah blah. He didn't have anyone sign for it. WE talked to b&h Monday to see where we were at with getting this settled. Well our package was suppose to be signed for and he left our package at our doorstep unsigned!!! the guy from ups i guess doesn't get it. So what pisses us off is they are making a police report bc it was a fairly expensive package he said. So its a little irritating bc i taking it theyd ont believe us which is just bull**** i'd rather spend my money on my lens then to lie about it im not that type of person. So now we have to wait for the cops so they can investigate Whatever!!!
Is this what they do they do this i dont understand why we haev to do this. THe packaged was suppose to be signed for we didn't get it no one signed for that package i dont understand why we have to go through all this crap. RIght now i could care less about my lens and just my freaking money back.

And because the driver didn't have anyone sign for it, and the package required adult signature from B&H, then it is UPS's responsibility. The reason that they are having you file the police report is so that they can submit the claim to their insurance company for the full value of the package. If it were "simple" to get your money back if a person claimed to not receive a package, I'm sure that more than a few people would be ordering a ton of stuff and claiming that they never received it, which would put UPS and FedEx out of business.

See we keep bringing up why was the packaged left when it was suppose to be sign ups will not answer that question for us, so obviuolsy its the drives fault for leaving a fairly expensive package that wasn't signed for right?
This is something they always do then to make a police report for a product that was left? IM expecting the cops to be at the house and its just gonna freak me out.

I don't think the driver will know if it's expense or not. Nevertheless he should not have left the package at your door step. Hope you resolve this soon

Report the disappearance of the parcel to the police, they'll give you a report number, you give that to UPS and B&H. then you TELL B&H to either provide the lens you paid for, or refund you. If they don't, do a charge-back on your credit card.

Apart from the hassle of having to deal with the situation, it is not your problem. It is B&H's problem.

I would do a charge back now. The when the cc card company sends you a letter to explain you can just attach a copy of the police report to it and be done with it...Hopefully.

I ordered some diver propulsion scooters. I tracked them on the day they were supposed to be delivered, stayed by the front door. Day came and went, no delivery, no scooters, the site said "Delivered to front door"!! It only took 4 months to get the replacements after constant harrassment of UPS....

Ordered a set of double scuba tanks (two tanks connected by a solid stainless steel manifold) it was delivered with the "This End UP" end "This end down" it had obviously been dropped in place, the manifolds were bent and had to be replaced, I never saw a dollar of any on that one, luckily the manifold is only about $200.00 and I was able to replace it myself.

Lastly, I had a $600.00 case of wine delivered (an item that must be signed for by someone greater than 18 ) it was delivered to my garage door and a fellow by the name of G. Arage signed for it...

So far I am not impressed with the brown fellows, seems they have an appropriate color.

Mike

I've had UPS leave packages on the porch with my dog who proceeded to shred them. I'm currently trying to find out what happened to a package I ordered from Backdrop Outlet that supposedly went out on the 6th UPS and never arrived here. 2 weeks ago the UPS guy left a package (again) on the porch w/ my dog (again, shredded) and it was for our neighbor... We both have clearly marked house numbers. One neighbor said she saw the guy drive up and down the street several times before deciding to drop it at my house. When they brought the re-ordered item they AGAIN brought it to our house, not the neighbors... I completely understand your frustration with UPS!!

Please, I hope nobody misunderstands, I think UPS sucks royally compared to Fedex, I'm just explaining why they're making you jump through the hoops. As to the person that said that this is B&H's problem, how exactly do you figure? They gave exact shipping instructions that the shipping company ignored. This is UPS's mess to clean up.

I agree is ups mess but b&h needs to deal with. I tell you what though this is thelast time i do any ordering online. I will just go to wolf and pay for my stuff the expensive way its rediculous to have to do all this stuff. They were suppose to call us back haven't yet so we are waiting for our phone call still.
There suit color says it all lmao
I have seen the way fedex delievers packages im not too impressed wth them today i saw a guy just throw a neighbors box on the porch slung it over the rail and tossed it, didn't ring or knock just walked off. Both are not very caring of others belongings

UPS is by far the WORST shipment company out there, I don't care how much money they make a year, they are horrible at what they do. They always get me a damaged package, or leave it on my god damn porch. The last item left outside in clear view of the public, a brand new LCD tv, in the box that said LCD tv ACROSS THE SIDES OF IT!

FedEx all the way! DHL and USPS (The POSTAL SERVICE) have better shipping than UPS. I could go on for many posts. It always seems that when I buy something from FexEx it makes it here 1 to 2 days earlier than scheduled, and they NEVER leave crap on my doorstep in the rain and snow. As for UPS I get 3 day guaranteed shipping, but that automatically turns into 5-6 day shipping - oh yay the fine print.

Soooo true! FedEx and Usps seems to make sure you're item gets to you, where I just had a UPS man leave my package under my welcome rug, lol.

I've never had UPS deliver to my house and leave it unsigned. I think it's the law or something in Canada.

I feel for you guys.

people will always try to stop you doing the right thing if it is unconventional
