Lightroom Doesn't Recognize CS2

This past summer I upgraded from Photoshop CS to CS2 (I am usually a version behind on the expensive software). Lightroom used to recognize Photoshop CS and have that as an option to export to for further editing. After the upgrade (which wasn't technically an upgrade since my CS2 version was the full version, not the upgrade version) Lightroom doesn't see it any more. I did completely uninstall the CS version.

I was able to link lightroom to the CS2 executable in the "other photo editor" section and I can use it that way.

Anyone know how to get lightroom to recognize CS2 as the main photoshop editor?

Am I missing any functionality by having CS2 as an "other editor" rather than an official "Photoshop Editor"? It seems to work fine, but if I don't know what I'm missing, how would I know? I think it used to give me three options, edit original, edit copy or edit copy with lightroom adjustments (or something like that). Now I only get one option, the other are greyed out. Not sure if its related to this or something else I may have changed (I also switched to RAW this summer).

Thanks.

It's just lost the link.

You can either uninstall and reinstall PS, or you can use the registry hack in this Adobe post: http://www.adobe.com/go/kb401629 (external link)

I had the same problem about a week ago and followed the info from the link above. Worked fine, problem went away.
