I think you will be happy with FM10, furthermore you can mount the lens to canon digital without any optical adapter.
I would recommend to get FM2 though if you can get your hands on it .
1/4000 mechanical shutter, no need for any batteries,..

It's not the same as B&W film but, in the end, it's more cost-effective with digital. Gear: Kodak Brownie and homemade pin-hole cameras. Burlap sack for a bag.

That was my replacement for Hasselblad and I've had no regrets. I believe you can pick a 5D body up for around $2k now?I'd love to get a 5D but they're still too pricey. Renting one occasionally might be an option but I fear I'll succumb to it's qualities and will want one, which I can't afford. Gear: Kodak Brownie and homemade pin-hole cameras. sapearl Cream of the Crop More info | Apr 17, 2008 09:30 | #59 I don't know if I'd agree with the statement that the IQ equals or surpasses the big film cameras - I define big as 4x5, 5x7, 8x10 view/field cameras - but it is pretty good. There are some large format film users on POTN who could give a more enlightened answer in this area than myself. chauncey wrote in post #5347577 Help me out here as I've never shot film. Aside from working in the darkroom, what is it about film that you'll like? Define the "look", whatever that means. Folks over at LL claims that the FF canons' IQ equal or surpass the big film cameras. So, what is it? GEAR LIST
