Just wanted to say that I was feeling bad that I have not offended anyone here for some time. So I'm sorry for that and I will try to pick it up soon.

PS If I have have offended you and you have not complained then what is wrong with you?

slow day......... my machine is backing up and does not want me to photoshop........(that's right I used it as a verb).

I find you not offending someone offensive.

I agree... How dare you not offend us in this way! It's intolerable.

Anyone with a screen name after Sansui's big 70's flop quadraphonic sound is offensive to me.

Unless of course you own a pair of those fine electrostatic speqkers Quads. Then I find you even more offensive, as I'm jealous.

Not only did I used to own the original electrostatics (commonly known as 55's I believe and of course much better since they are not made anymore) but my name is after my favorite little amps the Quad II's which I enjoy especially driving my AKG K1000 headphones. So I have no doubt offended you greatly. Oh joy of joy's.

The back up only has 7000 more files to go and the folks from Guanajuato want those photos on the week end, but since they paid me in tequilla they may have to wait. Guanajuato was great BTW, recommended.

The last time I felt offended a swinger wanted me to bring my wife to his party.

So, unless you happen to live down the street from me, you and I are fine.

But, I am flexible. I can be offended, if you'd prefer that.

Yea it is good Tequilla though. I have been paid in rum before as well.

Someone wanted to swap his wife with me for a bit but she didn't bath often enough for my taste. I did try to say no politely first but some people do not take a hint. Lets not go there though or you might offend me.

I should know the brand, but I don't....

Marantz?

probably not...

Wait, that's got the "ce" symbol. It's a lot newer than Marantz.....

Ahhhh, more research (which I should have done prior to posting). The Quad II monophonic Amplifier was produced by the Acoustical Manufacturing Company, starting in 1952. The circuit diagram suggests a two-stage push-pull amplifier design, with a pair of EF-86 drivers pushing into a pair of GEC KT-66 output tubes (valves).

I used to have a Heathkit stereo tube pre-amp/power amp back in the day. Wish I still had it for nostalgic purposes more than anything. But alas, my brother left the poor thing sitting under an open window in a rainstorm about 20 years ago.
