Why not get the Leica as well? I don't see anything wrong with shooting more than one system. They have different strengths. The question is; can you remember all the buttons & dials?

I have been tempted recently to rent this with a D3 and shoot for a day. Mark doesn't need to rent a 200 f/2 VR as he can borrow mine any time he wants to. Truth be told he purchased his D3 within a week of shooting with the 200 f/2 VR Yes, teh same lens from Canon will be avilable soon and I already own a Canon, but it would be nice to see what I could get with it. For the price of Canon's 200 f/2 you can get the Nikon with a D300 as an extra body and still have $200 left over for a nice bottle of wine. High ISO comparison is demanded between your two bodies ASAP. Don't do it Mark- there is enough of a D3 shortage already Nikon D3, D300, 10.5 Fisheye, 35 f/1.4, 50 f/1.4, 85 f/1.4, Zeiss 100 f/2, 105 f/2.5, 200 f/4 Micro, 200 f/2, 300 f/2.8, 14-24, 24-70, 70-200, SB-800x4, SB-900, SU-800, (3) Sunpak 120J (2) Profoto Acute 2400s,Chimera softboxes, (4)PW Multimax, (6) C-stands, (3) Bogen Superbooms, Autopoles

We all know it will retail for close to the Nikon's price. Just like the 300 2.8 IS does. people will always try to stop you doing the right thing if it is unconventional
