so as the title says im going to shoot 4 cars this sunday. i have a good spot by the beach. r we might try another spot which shows downtown Miami in the background. what setup should i use? itll be out in the day. m not too worried about the actuall shoot itself. but on our way there...i wanna take rolling shots. what setup should i use for rolling shots?

not long enough so it will blur but long enough so that the backround is blurred and the wheels are in motion..please give me some tips.

I don't shoot those types of images, but I'll bet if you clicked on the search button within this site, you'll get a ton of links.

what setup should i use for rolling shots?

Tough call. It depends on a lot of factors. The available light, your speed, distance, shutter speed, focal length...
If you're standing in one spot & panning, try some test shots beforehand with normal traffic & see what works for you. Maybe start with 1/80 sec.
