It bothers me that its impossile to shoot surf in Huntington with any kind of horizon without about 500mm locked in from the shore! I agree with the cropping comment above though...

I totally agree..was just there last week for the first time and thought the same...really awkward..got a few pics i have posted in the other thread but yea totally agree..and my 300mm zoom was defn not enough from shoreline to shoot anything that far out..venice beach was a little better, but im wishing i had my 400mm
