Pic for my poker room

I was sitting on the couch bored, and decided to take a few shots at my poker table. I want to get some shots to hang up, but don't think I was really into it tonight. Let me know what you think, or if you have any suggestions of what might make a good shot.

I think a Dave Hill style effect would look really good on this shot!

I have noticed this dave hill style mentioned in other threads, but what is it?

Ok, I googled it, and agreed, I think it would look good like that. Now if only I can figure out where to find a tutorial and give it a try.

I think it's a good shot, but for hanging it up on the wall, I think I'd change a few things. Maybe use a green topped poker table (or just put a piece of "poker table green" felt down) to get some contrast and separation of the cards. Like I said it looks cool as is but nothing really "pops" cause the lines of the white cards run into the off-white table and same with the chips.

Green table, splash a few chips in the middle and I think you'll have a much more dynamic shot as far as colour contrast goes. Otherwise it's a really cool idea.

Cool shot. It could definately use some PP. A little hot in the foreground but a good idea.

PS I have had that hand craked by quad kings......twice!

It's something i intend to try at some point but i don't have any tutorials for it unfort. I just googled 'dave hill tutorial' and a bunch of links look like they might be useful. If no one here has any links to tutorials i'd start there.
