So David just posted a new blog on Strobist, and he mentioned a shot involving 20 or more flashes using "BioWizards." He doesn't mention what they are, but supplies a link for more info. However the link does not provide any further info on what BioWizards are. Neither did Google, or the trusty search function here on POTN. Anyone know what they are? Just curious...

Oh geeze now I feel like an idiot. I guess i just skimmed over it. I was like what? A new cheaper alternative to Pocket Wizards?? Too bad... they should really market them.

Lotsa stupid questions on here... just be thankful that this one won't balloon out to a 50+ post thread ala some recent slip-ups regarding fps ;) I suppose it could be cheaper or more expensive depending on how many friends you have and how much their time costs ;)

They do, unfortunately a large bio wizard smuggling ring was busted in LA recently. I think that might call attention to the trade. ;)

The bio wizard is an optional accessory for the voice-activated light stand. They're quite pricey and can be flaky sometimes, but good to have in a pinch.
